Geri Sue and Rick Sandor, long time Friends of the Market, found a new level of cultivating a fine community this past Saturday. The Sandors, after hearing of the goals and focus of the SPROUTS program, decided to sponsor a membership.
That membership has found its way to Matthew, who enjoyed his trip to the Market yesterday and was thrilled at the SPROUT t-shirt, market bag, coloring book and GreenBacks given as part of the membership to SPROUTS.
“For those without children or grandchildren of their own,” says Paula Green, a SPROUT organizer, “sponsoring a membership is a tremendous way to support our program. I see the generosity of the Oxford Community and the overriding sense of belonging here continue to grow each and every time we have a SPROUT event.”
