Highlights include:
Gardening 101
-Held on opening day of the market, children of all ages are given the opportunity to make a recycled pot, and then plant a seed in their pot and watch it grow over the course of the summer. This event also serves as the kickoff for the Oxford Plant a Row for the Hungry Campaign.
Annual Salsa Contest
-Held in August at the peak of the tomato season. Members of the public can enter their flavorful creations in their quest for the winning Red Ribbon. Don’t have a recipe to enter? No problem. Everyone can take part in the fun by tasting the entries and by helping to chose the People’s Choice Winner.
Harvest Party
-Held on the last day of the summer market season. Join us as we celebrate the season’s harvest with food, friends, and fun.
