Visitors to “Opening Day” at the Oxford Farmers Market Uptown (OFMU) Saturday, May 2, were treated to delicacies prepared from market vendors’ products by Chef Joel Parks – washed down with salubrious sips of apple cider from Downing Fruit Farm.

Scavenger hunts around the market, on bingo cards, were enjoyed by our young “sprouts” members. (check out our new sunny-yellow “sprouts” aprons).

Sweet music was provided by Warren Waldron (fiddle), Amy Clay (banjo), John Ford Clay (guitar), and Karl Reiff (bass).
